The people who do the work

Craft on the wall. A clear eye for how a room is felt.

Richard and Christine are a husband-and-wife team in Rockford, Michigan. Richard’s background is residential painting: spaces people actually enjoy, done cleanly and carefully the first time. Christine earned her MBA and built a career in national sales and experiential marketing. She knows how imagery changes what a place feels like.

They are high school sweethearts from Toledo. They lived across Ohio and Michigan, then chose West Michigan as home in 2019. Bear Creek Murals is where that painting craft and that sense of brand meet.

  • Based in Rockford. Homes and businesses across West Michigan and beyond.
  • Direct-to-wall UV printing, and printed panels when the surface or the future needs flexibility.
  • Up to 12 feet high, and wide to within 12 inches of edge to edge.
  • Drywall, glass, metal, wood, brick, concrete, and cinder block.
  • Ink that cures with UV light, described by them as non-toxic and free of solvents and thinners.
  • No design yet? They work with trusted graphic designers.

Why this, not vinyl

The print becomes the surface.

Bear Creek Murals prints on site with a vertical UV printer. There is no vinyl sheet, no adhesive, and no seams to join across a long wall. The ink is meant to be cleaned with Simple Green or soap and water.

They also offer printed panels, made off-site and installed when a wall is not a good candidate for direct printing, when a rental needs something that can move, or when a design may change later. Panels can reach tight corners that a printer cannot.

The point is a finished wall with less disruption than paint fumes and a long mural schedule: low odor, no days of drying, and a room you can use when the printer leaves.

What they brought with them

Skill, strategy, and a room that feels intentional.

Their About page says Bear Creek Murals is the intersection of Richard’s painting craft and Christine’s work in how a brand is experienced. They welcome a conversation about the space and what it should become.
